From early fall to early winter, from high school to university, from young to mature. These growths are very precious experiences in life. I hope that one day when I look back on myself once again, I can see a smiling face without regrets.

This is the third month since I came to Tsinghua University. The season when I came was early autumn. Even now it’s early winter, I still think of everyone and everything from my hometown Malaysia from time to time. One of the things I miss most is the backyard of my house. The backyard at home has existed since I remembered it. Maybe the same as my age or maybe younger.
When did it start? I would walk there every evening. I planted three violets and a rose there. There is also an unknown tree planted by his father. There are many small, red fruits on the tree. Put it in the mouth and bite, the red juice stained the mouth.
Every time I get here, I will start watering first. Slowly water them one by one. This is the most leisurely moment of my day. Empty head, think of nothing, just quietly enjoy the tranquility of this moment. Until the last one is poured. I will stand up and stand still looking at each plant. Some of them are already in bud, and some are full of fruits; some have withered, and some are in full bloom. I believe that they are happy.
Every time I get home, I will first run to the little lilac flower on the windowsill. First nodded and smiled at her in bloom, then closed eyes. Take a deep breath, the scent of warm sunshine will fill my world in an instant, making me feel like I’m in an unreal dream. At this time, I will slowly open my eyes and feel the beauty with my heart.
When I wake up every morning, I will quietly look at myself in front of the mirror, and then gently say to myself: Today is another beautiful day, come on! Then I went out in a happy mood. Humming a happy tune along the way, rushing towards the school with brisk steps. When facing oncoming pedestrians, I will greet them happily. And I often get a face full of smiles.
It’s early winter now, and it’s the third month I have been in this beautiful garden. Looking back on when I first started school, from being unable to find the classroom at the beginning to now familiar with the location of the classroom. The tension from the beginning of school gradually became calm. I found that university not only teaches us the knowledge of the profession, but also teaches us how to live. Everyone we meet in the university teaches us all the time to grasp the big and small details of our lives. I believe that as long as I can learn with my heart. Everything I have gained in these four years will far exceed my imagination.
Four years of university is the most important stage in everyone’s life and the most precious years in youth. We all know ourselves anew during this time and are eager to grow into the person we most wanted to be during this time. We will reap a lifetime of friendship in this garden. One day, full of homework in our lives, exams will become less important after we graduate. The last thing left is the memories we share with a minority of people. There are eight billion people on the earth, and it is a rare thing to be able to meet people around us in the huge crowd. We must cherish the people around us who are willing to accompany us to grow up, and the best way to express gratitude to them is to accompany them every day of our lives. Slow down and give yourself a break. Not only to walk the next road, but more importantly, let your tired body and mind be fully rested, so that you can get full energy again. Nowadays, many people go by in a hurry every day, turning a blind eye to their relatives and friends. Although this lifestyle seems busy and fulfilling, I think I will miss a lot of the scenery that I watched with the people around me, and miss a lot of opportunities to talk to them. Maybe one day you will find that they have completely disappeared from your life. The terrible thing about communication between people is that once people’s communication is interrupted and cannot be restored within a certain period of time, it will be difficult to re-establish it.
From early fall to early winter, from high school to university, from young to mature. These growths are very precious experiences in life. I hope that one day when I look back on myself once again, I can see a smiling face without regrets. Regardless of whether those memories are happy or not, they are the most precious. They accompany me through my youth, accompany me to cry, laugh, and grow together. From early autumn to early winter, this period is not long, but it has brought together my beautiful university memories, and it is also an unforgettable and beautiful time full of gratitude in my youth years. I look forward to a wonderful and infinite campus life in the future.
